A: We recommend 60-90 minutes at the Museum Ship Valley Camp and 30-45 minutes for the Tower of History. Of course, your paid admission is good for the entire day. Please, feel free to spend as much time as you need in each location until the close of business each day.

A:  The Museum Ship Valley is handicap accessible with ramps that will bring you to each level of the ship. The Pilot house is the only area that a ramp does not reach.

The Tower of History unfortunately is not handicap accessible. There is an express elevator that will take you up but there are steps to get inside and a few steps once inside.

Q: Is it a guided tour?

A: We only offer guided tours for The Museum Ship Valley Camp and only for larger groups, such as schools and tour companies.

A:  The Valley Camp is partially floating, the stern (back) of the ship is fully floating, while the bow (front) of the ship is grounded in the mud.

A:  Yes, we have an elevator that will take you to the main observation deck. But if you are feeling up for a challenge you are welcome to take all 292 stairs to the top.

A:  Our opening and closing dates vary but we are typically open Mid- May to late October.
